How to open Local Group Policy editor in Windows 10

Use any of the methods described in this article to open Local Group Policy editor in Windows 10.
Note that you may need to sign in to Windows 10 as an administrator to use the Group Policy editor.
Run or Command Prompt
1. Open Run or Command Prompt.
2. Type gpedit.msc
and press ENTER.
Shortcut
1. Right-click on an empty space of a folder on the computer.
2. When the context menu appears, point to New and click Shortcut.
3. Type gpedit.msc
and click Next.
4. Type Group Policy editor
and click Finish.
Use the created shortcut to run the Group Policy editor.
